What we collect

CodesDex does not offer accounts or contact forms. We do not ask for your name or email on the site. Cloudflare may process server logs for security and reliability. Anonymous code votes are stored as a one-way hash for up to 24 hours, not as a raw IP address.

Children's privacy

This site is suitable for a general audience, including kids who look up game codes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ads, when enabled, are non-personalized only. Analytics ads features stay off.

Advertising

When ads are enabled, we intend to show non-personalized, contextual ads only. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies for frequency capping and fraud prevention. Ad slots are empty until ads are turned on in site config.

Analytics

If Google Analytics 4 is configured, it loads after the page is idle and runs with Google signals and ad personalization disabled. We use it to see which pages are useful, not to build ad profiles.

Cloudflare

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes requests and may keep operational logs needed to run the network and stop abuse.

Sale or share of personal information

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used under CCPA/CPRA. We do not run remarketing audiences from this site.

Local device memory

CodesDex can store saved games, codes you copied, votes you cast, and when you last visited the new-codes feed in your browser with localStorage keys starting with cdx:v1. This data stays on your device. Clear it anytime with the Clear control under Your games, or by clearing site data in your browser.
